New Competition Format 2024

January 15, 2024, Warsaw

In January, a meeting of team captains of the SGH Chess Business League was held, which marked the beginning of a new era in the history of the League. Revolutionary changes have been presented that will provide even more emotions and unique experiences in the upcoming season.

New League Concept

One of the main novelties is the introduction of division into divisions, which will increase the dynamics of the games and provide participants with even more diverse and exciting matches. This new system will allow for better matching of skill levels between teams, which will contribute to a more even and competitive competition.

Four Additional Special Events

Captains were also excited to announce four additional special events that will take place throughout the year. These events are aimed not only at competition, but also at integration and building relationships between participants. These meetings, such as Blitz & Drinks tournaments or family chess tournaments, will certainly be unforgettable attractions.

New League Partner

Another important announcement was cooperation with a new league partner who will produce dedicated T-shirts for teams. These unique T-shirts will not only emphasize the identity and spirit of the teams, but will also become a symbol of belonging to the elite group of the SGH Chess Business League.

Positive Reception of Captains

The team captains enthusiastically accepted these changes, seeing them as an opportunity to develop and promote chess in the business environment. This is another step towards strengthening the role of the SGH Chess Business League as a platform combining the passion for chess with the professional world of business.

We are looking forward to the start of the new season in this renewed formula, which is sure to attract even more chess and business enthusiasts!
